About Lesson

How do we use this to get more money?

vMeme are responsible for behaviours.

Become unstuck, with clarity and freedom…

From what to what? $$ How long will that last you?

From what skill level to what?

Is there enough pleasure / pain there to make change?

What are you willing to do in order to achieve change?

When do you want to effect that level of change? (we can’t know the incubation period but there will be an incubation period.)

Leaps come through drive of the vMeme that dwarfs all other historical events.

Strauss & Howe predicted massive change… there is social unrest and coercion. The survival of USA as we know it is threatened. They knew that in 1996.

Closed to change > Arrested to change > Open to change.

States of motivational conflict

Approach- approach > between two things people want.

Avoid-avoid > two outcomes that you don’t want.

Approach-avoidance > moving between 2 outcomes.

Conditions for change

Each is a continuum. Change can’t be sustained without it.

Potential: illness mental or physical. Access to their own time?

Familiar / finding the time to change must be overcome to achieve. Have routines and actions stayed the same as 5 years ago?

Can the person entertain more complexity?

How entrenched is the person inside their coping mechanism.

Potential is influenced by genetics, nutrition, mental conditions, education, learning, political circumstances etc.

Solutions: can you solve the challenges in front of you to have the time and energy for new exploration.

Dissonance: There must be tension / dissatisfaction to overcome the pull of the familiar.

Life conditions / market conditions / business challenges / health challenges can create dissonance.

Pain thresholds get pushed. You have to want more to get more… in career, finances, relationships. Pleasure can drive massive action…

Barriers: What are the challenges that must be overcome? “What if” can create mental fears and anxiety and old ideas.

How can the barriers be dissolved, overcome or put aside?

Disowned selves can be a barrier.

Name the monster to move from possibilty to probabilty.

Insight: From what to what? What resources are needed. New mind capacities change possibilities.

See into other people’s world and your own formation.

From what to what this?

What are our previous biases?

Have a bullseye to keep things in focus.

Consolidation: stay in the new place and assimilate it. It takes time for the new ways to become normal.

The environment can pull you back to where you were. Success doesn’t come immediately. The easier route is not the best path.

The Hero’s Journey…

Energy for change must go into the change not resistance to change.

Changing The Way You Think is the key to results.

Discipline to act on from what, to what.

Language patterns dictate progress > are they starting shut down.

Resistance takes the message away, hijacking the conversation.
